Overview

RIF entry bench: sit down, take your shoes off, slide them under.

Entry bench 100×35×50 cm, seats two adults. The seat lies on top of the end panels and a 36 mm centre leg, so the load goes straight down into the panel edges, not into the fittings.
Seat span 464 mm between supports (≤ 600 for 18 mm board); back rails under the seat keep it from racking.
Two open shoe levels, 183 mm high, shelves set back 20 mm for a shadow line: about 8 pairs.
End panels fluted with fine vertical grooves.
RIF collection — fluted modern.
Recessed 80 mm plinth so the piece reads as floating.
