Overview

HAWA entry bench: sit down, take your shoes off, slide them under.

Entry bench 120×35×50 cm, seats two adults. The seat lies on top of the end panels and a 36 mm centre leg, so the load goes straight down into the panel edges, not into the fittings.
Seat span 564 mm between supports (≤ 600 for 18 mm board); back rails under the seat keep it from racking.
Two open shoe levels, 173 mm high — the base board and a shelf set back 20 mm: about 12 pairs.
The bench floats 10 cm above the floor over a dark frame set 9 cm in, and is screwed to the wall through the back rails.
HAWA collection — floating.
Floats on a dark base set 90 mm in: a deep shadow all round at the floor.
