Side table 50×50 with shelf: chunky reeded legs under a thick 36 mm top.

50×50 cm top, 50 cm high, doubled to a 36 mm edge and banded with 2 mm ABS.
Chunky 60 mm square legs set 10 mm inside the corners: two boards forming an L, doweled and glued before delivery, reeded on both outer faces (12 mm pitch).
An 80 mm apron frame set back behind the legs: cam-locked corners and four screws into every leg, so it does not rack.
Lower shelf with a 36 mm edge nested into the legs and cam-locked to all four: storage and a second brace at floor level.
